Our Program

Wings Aerospace Academy (WAA) is a tuition-free charter program, for 6th-10th-grade students, that offers a “blended learning” format, bringing together the best of two worlds—experiential education with on-line learning via core courses provided by a certified, multi-district charter school, the Elevate Academy; and the best of hands-on, aerospace-based STEM curricula provided by Wings of The Rockies Air & Space Museum in our aerospace settings.

Beginning academic year 2017-2018, all WAA participants will have the opportunity to help build an RV-12 airplane with assistance from WAA and museum staff!
