The Wings Aerospace Academy Charter School will open to students in grades 6-8 for the 2018-19 school year upon approval by Denver Public Schools. It will be a tuition-free, accredited charter school in the DPS SchoolChoice system. Each year, the school will be extended one grade until 2022 when WAA Charter School will be open to students in grades 6-12.

Wings Aerospace Academy Charter School will offer a blended, online learning format combined with hands-on aerospace-based STEM curricula designed to prepare students for careers in aviation, aerospace engineering and airframe and powerplant aircraft maintenance. The WAA Charter School will be staffed by highly-qualified, licensed STEM teachers who share a strong knowledge in aerospace STEM.
